The Odessa Waltz
This waltz was inspired by Andy Statman's great waltz called The Flatbush Waltz. It has more than a little taste of Klezmer to it, and I always hear it in my head played on clarinet. Although I wrote it in 2018, its somber first part and hopeful second part are very appropriate for today.
