Bobby in the Road
Driving in the west of Scotland, a bobby was holding a radar detector while standing in the center of the tiny road going into a village. I pulled over to stretch my legs and chat, and asked him what he did when someone was speeding - was there a chase car up the road? He told me that he just motions for them to pull over. I just cannot imagine that working in the states. I'd have to say that Scotland is a lot more civilized!
